A/Prof Naohisa Yoshida

Dr Naohisa Yoshida is Assistant Professor at the Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine and a member of the Department of Molecular Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He received his medical degree from the Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Kyoto, Japan and completed his Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the same university. He also received Ph. D from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Graduate School of Medical Science. Dr Naohisa Yoshida is one of the leading research experts in the role of image-enhanced endoscopy including narrow band imaging (NBI) and flexible spectral imaging color enhancement (FICE) in colorectal tumors. He firstly published the efficacy of blue laser imaging (BLI) for diagnosis of colorectal tumors in the world. And he is also an expert of endoscopic therapy including endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) to colorectal tumors and chemotherapy to advanced colorectal cancer. He has performed international live seminars. Additionally, He published numerous SCI journal papers and book chapters, edited/reviewed for many academic journals. He received many academic honors including Young Investigator Award in TDDW (2013).
